Which grates does it work on? Will it scratch them?
TidyFlame fits most standard grates — gas, charcoal, and flat-top. The motorized head does the scrubbing with steady, even pressure, so you let the rotation do the work. Match the head to your surface — use the included flat-surface head for smooth grates and griddles.
Can I use it on a hot grate, or does it need to be cold?
Both. Use it on a hot grate mid-cook for quick touch-ups, or on a cold grate before you fire things up. In our own testing it cleaned a cold grate in about 60 seconds — just press the button and let the motorized head do the work.
How does it charge, and is it really cordless?

How do I clean the brush head?
The head pops right off and rinses clean under the tap, so grease and debris wash away in seconds. Snap it back on and you are ready for next time. Rinse the detachable head only — TidyFlame is not waterproof, so do not submerge the motorized body or put it in the dishwasher.
